2018-2019 art practice based on Critique of everyday life
“I tend to be contiguous with the critique of everyday life elements, straddling a profound investigation of those alienated, ordinary yet indispensable objects alongside with the scrutiny of their latent potential, which in the end, I aim to overturn and reframe that putative and mundane routine of the everyday life thereby to upend that prevalent indifference of those earthly objects from contemporary masses, toward a new discovery of the space we live by the deployment of absurdity, irrationality as the tool. In other word, to unveil the potentials amid this everyday monotony is my momentum to make works that will be able to enthral the audiences by rendering alternative perspectives of being-in-the-world, from ordinariness to extraordinariness. Further, I envision this can be accomplished by eclectic genres, the inset of my own body as serviceable agency to question the axioms of matters, hierarchy, signs, representations and the semantics of icons which dominates day-to-day life materially, semiotically and socially.”
